Brumbaugh, Mu & King, P.A. has been a proud part of Jacksonville, NC for over thirty years, and over the years has grown to serve several communities throughout North Carolina. We are pleased to provide local services in Jacksonville, Wilmington, Havelock, New Bern, Kinston, Goldsboro, Shallotte, Elizabethtown, Elizabeth City, Rocky Mount, Greenville, Raleigh, Washington & Fayetteville!

Originally, our firm began with the partnership of Clay Brumbaugh and Pat Donley. In 1982, Dick Mu joined us and later became a partner in 1985. We practiced general law until 1989 when we decided to limit our practice to injury cases. We were known as Brumbaugh, Donley & Mu until December 1990 when Pat Donley withdrew as a partner. The name then became Brumbaugh & Mu until 1993 when Ken King became a partner and his name was added. In 1994, the firm incorporated and became Brumbaugh, Mu & King, P.A., and shortly after, Leah King became a partner in 1998.

With the goal of a limited practice of law, we have developed a philosophy of providing a quality law practice where sufficient time and attention are given to the clients so they will feel that their attorneys truly care for them as individuals as well as for their cases.
